Michel Alhadeff-Jones, Ph.D, is Adjunct Associate Professor in Adult Learning & Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University (USA), Lecturer and Program Director of the Certificate of Advanced Studies "Life narrative and biographical coaching" at University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and Executive Director of the Sunkhronos Institute in Geneva (Switzerland). His teaching, coaching and research interests include among others the use of life history to promote critical self-reflection, complex ways of thinking, rhythmic intelligence, transformative learning, leadership development, and the development of transdisciplinary strategies of research. Michel is the recipient of the 2016 Jack Mezirow Living Theory of Transformative Learning Award. John Dirkx is Professor and Mildred B. Erickson Distinguished Chair (Emeritus) in Higher and Adult Education at Michigan State University. He received his doctorate from UW – Madison in 1987 with a focus on transformative learning. He is a former editor of the Journal of Transformative Education, and author of A Guide to Planning and Implementing Instruction for Adults,and numerous book chapters and journal articles on adult learning.
